The House
I just finished having it built it in 2003. It is a solid reinforced concrete construction. Cosy and very practical. I am very proud of it.
It is located in a newly developed subdivision of the small town of Wemyss Bight, but it is much closer to the Cotton Bay area. So far, in the subdivision, only one other house is finished and so, I only have one neighbour who is very nice and friendly.
The yard is very large and there are several tropical trees in it that already bear fruits. Guests are free to enjoy. There is a gardener that keep it. He is Haitian and does a great job with the weeds.
Also in the yard, you can find a barbecue pit where to grill all the nice catch of the day. If it is dark outside, there is a drop cord with a light inside the console, by the house entrance.
In the house there are two bedrooms. One with a king size bed and the other with a queen size. There are two bathrooms with tub and showers. Towels and bed wear are to be found in the closet.
The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a large living room and dining room area. Please take notice that there is no TV. For me it is a blessing, but for those addicted, they can watch major sport events, across street, on the main road, where there is a very nice Sports Bar named “Ship to Shore”. The same people that run the sports bar also own a motel and a laundry business. >>
